I know covid-19 news is everywhere. Literally all over the world. My kids school has closed for the next three weeks, our own church is practicing social distancing by offering live stream services to our congregation. Everything seems to be slowing down. The panic and uncertainty is palpable. The lines at my local grocery store are beyond anything I’ve ever seen. But you know what? It will be okay. We’re being called to something new.
We’re being called to slow down. To stay home. To wash our hands and keep what we can possible keep clean, keep clean (but really, wash your hands and no hoarding supplies we ALL need).

This is truly all new to all of us- no generation alive right now has experienced this. But you know what? We’re going to be ok. This is not the end of the world.

I was in the middle of cleaning and just had to put a reminder (yes it’s stove cleaner) to all of us. We are loved by God. He is not surprised by anything happening. We are covered by His love.
For now, we need to stay home and I truly believe remember what is it to be families again. Sports and social activities have been taken away and now we have the opportunity to get to know our kids and spouses again. Once this is all over, we will rejoice. As for now, stay home, enjoy what you’ve been given in your loved ones.
When it’s all done, we’ll reunite with our friends and rejoice together.
