To my sweet boy, you are turning two

There are not enough words to describe how much love we have for you. You were the best surprise in the world when you were supposed to be impossible. When the Dr. told me “I’m sorry it will be very difficult for you to ever have children” the world crashed around me. The first time we saw you we cried because you were so beautiful. Your adventurous spirit and your joy is infectious. You may not be talking away like other kids yet, but I know day by day you are growing and learning. I believe with all my heart that there is nothing you can’t do. You are my beautiful boy, you are a joy bringer, very curious, inquisitive, independent and sweet. I don’t regret for one moment leaving my job to stay home with you and now your brother. I love how you never fail to make us laugh, your sweetness is infectious and strangers who see you smile even if you are not at the moment.

You always make life a new adventure and I am so grateful I get the privilege of you calling me mama.
